House of Blues seating

I am planning a night at House of Blues for a concert. What are the best seats? Balcony or standing room only? Thanks!!

Depends mostly on your preferences and what you want to spend. HOB has very few actual seats, and they are much pricier than the gen'l admission standing tix. We always do SRO, just to save a few bucks, but if it's a popular show, plan on standing in line awhile to get a decent spot. SRO can be anywhere from right at the stage to back near the bars or in the balcony, depending on where you are in line. There are a few gen'l admission stools scattered around, but they go VERY fast. Most balcony reserved seats have an excellent view overlooking the stage, but a little further away.

They usually have a "pass the line" program - if you eat a meal at HOB the day of the concert, you can use your meal receipt to get in a special line that goes in before the other SRO's. It's often a long line also. I think there's a minimum on the meal to qualify. If you call 'em, they'll explain the options.
