Are there any good Plantation tours in the Garden City area and the prices?

There are no plantations in the immediate Garden City area. Your best bet is probably Hopsewee Plantation, a little bit South of Georgetown - http://www.hopsewee.com/

Mansfield Plantation in Georgetown is a beautiful place, but it primarily a B&B. I'm not sure if they're offering any public tours, or not. You might want to call 'em. http://www.mansfieldplantation.com/

Brookgreen Gardens doesn't have an antebellum plantation house, but the ricefields and grounds are fine.

Bellefield Nature Preserve aka Hobcaw Barony is between Debidue and Georgetown. 15,000 acres. The two houses are early 20th century; there are also slave cabins and a chapel from an earlier era.

Cap'n Rod's Lowcountry and Lighthouse Tours are very interesting. Not really a "tour" of plantations, but a cruise by locations and history lessons in the construction and operation of the rice plantations. Also goes by the North Island Lighthouse and spend time on a barrier island. Worth the ride to Georgetown, IMO.
