Leave your worries at home. You're on vacation. Don't cram to much into your week or you'll go home tired. Sitting by the pool for one evening with a few cold drinks can be just as relaxing and fun as a night out.

Don't make a lot of plans. More than likely they will change anyway so just plan one day at a time.

Don't expect everything to be perfect. The five minutes you spend fussing about some petty problem like loose wallpaper or hard mattress is five minutes you wasted not enjoying being on vacation.

Expect traffic and lines at restaurants. Don't get in a hurry.

Don't be afraid to ask yourself. "Is standing in line for an hour for an expensive dinner really worth it?"

Great advice by pop. Don't sweat the small stuff. Also, don't forget sunscreen! Post a review when you get back!

I like pops advice about the small stuff. I would add, set your alarm clock and get up to watch the sunrise. It's worth it.

Not only watch the sun rise, walk on the beach at that time. To me that is absolutely the best time of the day.

1. As said above, don't kill yourself waiting an hour plus to eat. MB has way too many places you can eat at. We usually do quick meals when we go out.

2. SUNSCREEN and more SUNSCREEN. Even if you think it is cloudy out, apply it.

3. No MB trip would be complete without a visit or two to Broadway at the Beach. You don't even have to shop. Its just fun to walk around or sit on a bench to enjoy the sites.

4. Hit the beach in the early morning and late evening. It's great just to walk when the crowds are thin and everything is quiet. Nothing more relaxing IMO.

The Caribbean is my favorite resort and you will have a great time. There is no reason to wait 1 hour in line and I don't think that will be the case next week in MB. The Sea Captains House is right nextdoor and it's a very good seafood restaurant. You have a Starbucks and Whitecap yogurt directly acroos the street. You can walk to 28th Ave( 1 block south) and eat at the best restaurant in MB which is NY Prime. If you go down to 21st ave you have River City Cafe, Dirty Dons and Soho all are very good choices for casaul lunch and dinners. Bummz on the beach is a nice place for cocktails on the ocean and they offer Karoake on Wed & Sat eves and its 8 blocks down Ocean Blvd. The Caribbean has a nice Tiki bar which will have entertainment every afternoon and make sure you say hi to Maggie the barmaid she great Broaday at the Beach is a short drive right down 29th ave. Have a great time

If you have a rental car, pick a night to drive down to Murrells Inlet and enjoy a restaraunt along the Marshwalk. Dead Dog Saloon is our favorite, with good live entertainment every night and good food.
