Where is your favorite?

Hello good people of Myrtle Beach.

I have three questions for you:

1. Where is the best fish tacos?

2. What is your favorite pizza in Myrtle Beach?

3. Who has the best pimento cheese?

Thanks for any answers! Let the discussion begin.

1) The only place I've had fish tacos here has been Salt Creek Cafe in Murrells Inlet. I love the restaurant but they were only OK. MB isn't exactly known for fish tacos.

2) Mellow Mushroom. The on tap beer selection might skew my opinion a little. It's by Broadway at the Beach. Chicago Pizza in Surfside Beach is also very good. Note, although it's called Chicago Pizza, it's not deep dish.

3) The only brand I have bought is Palmetto Cheese, it's made locally in Pawley's Island. You can find it in most grocery stores around here. I've never seen a reason to try another brand. I really like the one with jalapenos.

I totally second this. I usually get the Thai Chicken wings, but the pizza here is off the charts!

Palmetto Cheese is the best. If you are looking for a good pimento cheese sandwich - Sam's Corner in Surf Side used to have a great one. Not sure if it is still on the menu or not.

Haven't had fish tacos or pimento cheese but Kings Famous Pizza in North Myrtle has the best pizza in the area, in my opinion.

we're landing around 5pm Sunday and heading south, probably Georgetown, to spend our first night. We'll be quite hungry and anxious for some great meals along the coast. My hoosband eats no fish so is there a recommendation for a place where I can get some good local seafood and he will be satisfied? I'm thinking of Murrells Inlet? Pawley's Island? because of the scenery.

I typically order the catch of the day, but Drunken Jack's has other options such as steak. Drunken Jack's has an awesome view of the inlet. http://www.drunkenjacks.com/

Same with Lee's Inlet Kitchen minus the view. I actually like the food at Lee's better: http://www.leesinletkitchen.com/

My wife had some god fish tacos at Duffy St. Seafood Shack. Sorry I can't help with the rest.
