Its Crowded!

We are in NMB now...spent the day on the beach..HOT, and crowded. Guess its the weekend crowd. People leaving late Saturday, getting in last minute beach time...and people getting here, first day. And...locals off work, coming to the beach for the day. We are in a residential area...usually not crowded, but today was!! We will see how it is come Monday.

Hot too....about 90...with usual late afternoon thunderstorm.

We ate at Villa Tuscana last night. Very good!! Pricey!!

More to come! :)

Lucky you....Hot day at the beach beats a hot day at work..........They sorta frown on it when I show up for work no shirt and barefoot

Any bands on Main Street?

Well, still pretty crowded, but not as bad as the weekend crowd.(we are in a residential area of Ocean Drive.) But looking south toward Avista and that way, the beach still looks crazy crowded.

(Oh..we went to 8AM mass Sunday morning...huge church and it was packed!!)

And...still very hot too. Whew! Sunny days....usual clouds and small storm late afternoon. Clear nights. Typical MB weather.

Had a great dinner Sunay night at Bonefish Grille...we called for reservations and had less than 10 minute wait. Great meal, as usual.

Yesterday, had steaks on the grill, then out to play the obligatory putt-putt.

More to come..

Still very hot...low 90's. No rain since Monday.

Had wonderful dinner at Rossi's Tuesday night.....and Duffy St. Seafood Shack (on Sea Mtn. Hwy) last night. Heading to Broadway at the Beach late afternoon today.

Heat index in the low 100's all week here!! HOT!

Yesterday, we went to Broadway at the Beach..got there around

4...strolled around a bit, then had dinner at Landry's. Pretty good.

The crowds were starting to pick up there as we were leaving.

Took a drive down on the "strip"..(the old pavillion area) lots of people

wandering around. got a glimpse of the new boardwalk...looks very

nice.

More later...

Great review! We were in MB last year week of July 4th and very crowded. Will be there again in about a week for just 4 nights. Will expect to see the same crowds.

How did you like Duffy Street Seafood Shack? We are staying in Cherry Grove Beach this time, pretty close by the Sea Mt. Hwy location you went to.

Duffy's is very good. We went there last year....had a great meal, so were

anxious to try it again.

Beachlady, I just booked Towers on the Grove for our trip in September. How is that area?

Towers on the Grove is just off Sea Mountain Hwy....very convenient to walk to breakfast (Atlantic Pancake House), Duffy's, Basil's, grocery store, souvenir shop, ice cream, liquor store, etc... one of the busier areas of Cherry Grove.
