Were is the best place for a cream tea in Jersey?
There are various places around the Island. To be sat out in the sun, try the small cafe on Gorey pier, it is the first cafe on the corner opposite the boat that is filled with flowers.
For something a little more traditional, try Chateau La Chaire in Rozel where you can sit on their terrace if the weather in nice or in the ornate sitting room in the Chateau itself.
I would recommend Poplars. It is our favourite tea room by far.
It is at La Moye, not far from Corbiere.
The entrance is quite small and easily missed but well worth seeking out.
There is very pretty sheltered garden for a sunny day and inside they have a cabinet full of home made cakes.
We always go there for lunch straight from the airport.
Thanks for all your suggestions.
Are there any tea rooms in St Helier that do cream teas?
There is (or was... I haven't been past there for a while) a Vintage tea room on colomberie that a friend of mine said was nice! Otherwise try one of the hotels, I believe the Grand does an excellent (if pricey) afternoon tea.
Thanks for all your help populars looks good also thought a visit to the lavender gardens and the tea room
