Midweek break in Brixham

We're thinking of a midweek break somewhere in last week of August and Brixham is on the list. Anyone recommend ? Doesn't look like too many places to stay ? Is there enough there to keep us entertained for three nights or are we better staying somewhere else and visiting for the day

Anywhere in torbay would do transport links excellent more choice of hotels in Torquay

Torquay Brixham ferry 1.00 each way or use a mega rider on buses

Loads to do in area so 3 days would not be a problem

With Torquay, Paignton, Goodrington and Dartmouth all within easy reach there is plenty to see and do. There is a great choice of Restaurants in Brixham to suite all palates and all wallets. There are also plenty of places to stay, just have a look down the B&B ratings here on TA. We have stayed at Sampford House three times, it is rated no. 1 for very good reasons.

Thanks both for the advice. We've splashed out and booked three nights at the Quayside. It's Pirates night when we are there and also Red Arrows in the area so looking forward to it.
