Lots of Cardinal followers in Memphis. Its one of the oldest teams in major league baseball.

BTW, do the broadcast things like the World Series, Superbowl, etc. in the UK?

popsoda,

In this case the Cardinals and the Memphis Redbirds, being MLB and AAA afiliates in the same orginization and just a 230 mile interstate drive apart are demand generators for each other's travelers, and the success of one has relevance to the travel plans of the other. The relationship even has relevance to potenetial visitors internationally as just demonstrated by our friend from the U.K.

I second TN High Road. The Cardinal's success has a lot to do with visitors to St. Louis and Memphis. Go Cardinals. Ole Miss' Lance Lynn has contributed to their success. Good luck to LL.

I agree. Lots of folks travel to see sports teams and Memphis and St. Louis are definitely connected because of the ball teams and the easy drive between the cities.
