Can you drive to Criccieth from Germany?

I am thinking of renting a car from Ramstein Air Base to Criccieth. Will this be a good idea?

Will the hire car company allow you to take a car from Germany to Wales?

That would leave them with a left hand drive car in Wales, which they would have to get back to Germany.

I doubt they will let you do this.

Are you talking about a return trip? Then most major rental agencies will allow this, but you will have to tell them so they can arrange the paperwork, insurance certificates etc.

If you are talking one way, then it is much more difficult. Some places may allow it but they will charge a fortune for relocating the car back to Germany.

agree with the above posters, if it is a return trip, the companies for a charge (i think) will allow it , but doubt if they will let you do a one way as they have to get the car back

It's a very long drive. Would be faster to fly.
