Quiet camping site in area

Could anybody recommend a quiet camping site that would be relatively close to sections of the coastal path and possibly within walking distance of a village / town?

Hi,

Not sure how far you are prepared to be from St David's but Marloes is a small village with a few campsites that might fit the bill

Alternatively some YHA places allow camping on their grounds and there are several places around the area.

Enjoy Pembrokeshire

Caerfai Farm - organic farm, nice campsite, right on the coast path and walking distance into St David's.

Newgale Farm might meet your needs.

The site is on a slope so great views of St Brides Bay. Facilities are simple, and it's run by the farmer. Doesn't get too many visitors, so is normally quiet.

Short walk down the hill to the very small village of Newgale. There's direct access from the farm by a stile to the coast path.

Pembrokeshire is great for camping, enjoy yourselves.

Whitesands beach campsite is just stunning. Right by the beach, if you can get a pitch that's where we'd go

Fab one at Poppit Sands beach, no shower facilities, in fact no facilities except public toilets. However is on the Coast Path and there is a cafe next to it, plus right next to huge sandy beach. Only open for 6 weeks in the year and 10 minute walk from The Webley Hotel, 40 min walk from St Dogmaels and regular bus to St Dogmaels and Cardigan Town. £5 small tents, £10 big tents and campervans, no caravans . No website but you can telephone in advance.

If you want to be near St David's itself there is a lovely quiet campsite called Ty Newydd. Not on websites anymore but it is just perfect. On the road to Triginnis behind the Cathedral 10 mins walk to town. Overlooks the Cathedral and views to the coast. Large flat ground - simple but very clean amenities and lovely friendly and kind elderly owners. Cheap too...much less expensive than any of the others around St David's. No booking.
