What is best method to get from airport to Guayabitos?
If you booked a Pkg. deal, with a Charter from Canada the Transfer is Included. If Not then a Taxi is best, but costly as you are at least 1 1/2 hours drive from PV Airport. Some people take the Bus., you would have to get a cab from the Airport to the bus station.
Taxi prices are posted on the PV forum, See: top questions,airport/ taxi.
Do a Search there, and you will see lots of answers to your question., some people Cross the overpass and get a taxi for less .
What time do you get into the airport?
And how many people in your party?
Answers to these questions would let me/other people know what to suggest.
there would be 4 in our party arriving at the airport at 135 pm
there would be 4 in our party arriving early afternoon
welcome to forum
have you booked a Charter pkg? or flight hotel sep.?
if Not you will need a Van with your luggage.

From the above web site (JaltembaBayLife(dot)com), I was able to contact a fellow by e-mail and we have hired him to pick us up at the bridge right by the PV airport. If you are not able to find his name...PM and I'll send you his contact e-mail.Edited: 22 January 2011, 22:12
Great. Safe travels!
Getting to Guyabitos from PV is a piece of cake and very cheap... walk over the footbridge from the airport to the "outside" taxis. Ask for the bus station - Central Camionera. It's about 2 miles down the road from the airport. The price of the bus seems to vary - paid 55 pesos on Sunday but 89 pesos the week before! Bus will drop you on the highway at the entrance to Guyabitos village. A taxi will be in the vicinity within minutes to take you where you need to go for a reasonable charge. Have fun.
