Getting around without a car

Staying at the Sheraton Downtown. What's best way to get around? We won't have a car. Are there any shuttle's (free) or otherwise, buses, taxis, etc.

What are charges? ALso best transportation to get to Opryland?

Sheraton might have shuttle buses. There are taxi's and buses. Not shure of prices but someone elses will chime in here with them.

Hi Gemini65,

Luckily, at the Sheraton, you're within two or four blocks away from the downtown action. To get to the Opryland hotel, you'll probably have to take a cab. That would be anywhere from $10 to $20 one way. Check with the hotel because they may have a shuttle to go to the Grand Ole Opry show.

Another idea is to take the Tommy's Tours and/or the NashTrash Tour.

Like Smoky said above, you'll be within easy walking distance of the scene on Lower Broadway. Taxi costs run $3 for getting in and then $2 per mile.
