One day in Nashville? All suggestions welcome. HELP!!

My husband and I will passing through Nashville on business next weekend and we have one day in Nashville. We are both country music fans. What would you suggest we see or do? Also we would like to go to a true COuntry Music bar/ restaurant. All suggestions welcome. Thanks.

There are several clubs downtown that you might enjoy, Wildhorse Saloon, Coyote Ugly, Tootsie's etc! Country Music Hall of Fame, The Ryman Auditorium, maybe a bus tour of the stars homes etc. The General Jackson Riverboat dinner cruise and show is very nice!

There are some good ideas in this thread:

Hi har8cin5,

How about a Saturday evening with Orleans, Craig Morgan and Pam Tillis?!?! (Plus many others.) These three are confirmed for Saturday (Sep 26) at the Grand Ole Opry. http://tinyurl.com/22gkpf

If you like bluegrass, on Sunday give the Station Inn a shot with their Bluegrass Jam (no cover charge). www.stationinn.com

Everyone above gives some great ideas too. During the day, how about a Tommy's Tour?!?! www.tommystours.com

Or, maybe a Gray Line Tour: www.graylinenashville.com/tours.cfm
