Help Where to stay for 3 nights

Coming to Nashville in march What is the best area to stay in Downtown or Opryland? Also any suggestions on reasonably priced hotels would be appreciated.

i am also going in march my 3rd time there we are staying at the holiday inn express 920 broadway $ 128 per night i think downtown is best cause things are very close for walking about at night if you are in opryland you will have to drive or get a taxi downtown.

Depends on your objectives. If you want to do things around the Opryland area, then there are hotels close. There are chain hotels such as Marriott Courtyard, Fairfield Inn, Guesthouse Suites where you should be able to get rates b/w $80-$110/nite. You may want to check the Opryland website. They sometimes run specials.

As for downtown, I would stay away from the East side of the river, down by the football staduim. There are plenty of hotels around Broadway/2nd Ave. For $100 or less, you could probably get Holiday Inn Express, perhaps Doubletree. For $100 - $200, Courtyard, Renaissance Nashville Hotel, Hilton (very nice, but pricey). A little farther out west a couple of miles, an Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, all probably available for the $120-$160/nite range.

Hope this helps.
