Printers Alley Area

Looking at renting a penthouse loft in this area. Any thoughts, safe for a group of single women to walk out for food and drinks?

Yes, Printer's Alley is fine for a group of women. Most of the buildings surrounding it are banks, business and state government offices. Downtown Nashville is quite safe, but that's not to say you can let your guard down at all times - be smart and aware of your surroundings as you would in any large city. You're only 2 blocks north of the major toursty area on Broadway and there's plenty of dining options right by. Check out Puckett's at 5th and Church or Back Alley Diner in the Arcade 1/2 block north of there. Both are great. The Aracade itself is worth a walk through - lots of quick eat options.
