timber tops cabin rentals/ pigeon forge, tn/places to eat

I just booked a cabin through timber tops based on a friends good experience. However, some reviews have me scared! Has anyone stayed at "A Shining Star"? This is for my 10 yr anniversary, does anyone have any good recommendations on a place to have a nice anniversary dinner. Thanks

Never stayed in "A Shining Star", but we've stayed with Timber Tops twice before and have no complaints. Both the cabins we stayed in lived up to all our expectations and looked exactly like the pictures on their website. As for a place to eat for your anniversary, my parents went to Pigeon Forge for their 25th Anniversary and ate their dinner at The Park Grille. It's located in Gatlinburg, but it's worth the little bit of a drive.

Thank you for your feedback. I feel much better. Also, thanks for the info on where to eat. A good meal is worth the drive!

A good place to eat is the Apple Barn, maybe not for the annimersary dinner, but for any other meal. Food is fantastic. You will have leftovers.Congrats on the 10 year anniversary, we just celebrated our 31st. In this day and age, 10 years together is pretty good.
