River tubing

Any recommendations for floating with tubes? We have 8 year olds, so no major rapids. Just a slow and "lazy river" pace.

You'll find many outfitters offering this type of floating trips down hwy 321 from Pigeon Forge in the small town on Townsend. They will shuttle you back and forth to go again all day if you want for $8-9 per day per person I believe.

We have used these companies. There are a few more companies in the area, but I wouold probably go with the cheapest one. It's the same river so no sense in paying more. The water is so cold, but on a hot day it feels great.

Be sure to bring some water shoes. I forgot mine and had to buy a pair for $10.00

I'm picky and I dont like my feet touching the bottom of the river.
