You haven't been to College Station unless you've been to:
So far I've been told Dixie Chicken.
I'm sorry to tell you that there are no must-sees in C. Station.
I enjoyed the George W Bush Library.. even if you are not a fan, its worth seeing.
Ha! texhills - You are too funny! This is true, nothing in CS.
well, I agree that CS is not the metroplex that Austin/Houston/Dallas are, but it is a GREAT little family town
Having lived there for 10 years, here are my recs:
For food- Freebirds (on University), Wings and More (Southwood Valley), and The Dixie Chicken are all CS originals and have good food.
For Fun/education: the GB Library (of course),
tour the Veterinary school (there is LOTS of good stuff to see there- like a cow with a "window" in her abdomen, a wildlife refuge, and a 2-headed calf!),
go to the Bonfire memorial and walk around campus (there is a great deal of history and tradition there!)
You won't be able to miss Kyle field- it would be best to visit during a game or go to MIDNIGHT YELL PRACTICE (it is really fun!)
Also, Bee Creek Park has a really nice swimming pool (with slides and everything).
hope that is helpful!
