Wild West show at stock yards?

Hello I also posted in the ft worth forum. Looking at this Sunday. I know rodeo is only on Fri Sat.

Anyone been to the Wild West show? Good for tween girl?

Also anyone been to the Coyote Drive inn there?

The Wild West show is fun, not a rodeo, but a lot of folks really don't want a rodeo, and this is just fine. As I remember it the show is about 45 minutes long, which allows more fun time to do other things. If I were taking a tween girl to Fort Worth, I'd make the first stop of the day the Cowgirl's Museum (note that they have an awesome gift shop), then lunch, then the Wild West show, and then some ambling about in the Stockyards. You can go to Billy Bob's (if interested) and they have a short rodeo (what many folks really want, unless you're true rodeo enthusiasts) for $2.

I agree with above post. If you have time go to the Cowgirl's Museum. It is very nice.

The Cowgirl Museum is an great idea, but as a footnote, it is in the museum district about a 10 minute drive SSW of the Stockyards.
