Last minute vacation!

Hi! My husband and I are trying to plan a last minute romantic getaway for the weekend of may 9th-11th. We can not seem to find anywhere to stay. We fell in love with a couple of places (an awesome airstream trailer, and a teeny tiny house) but they have both fallen through, and the last one was booked minutes before we called. Our budget is about $200 a night, and would prefer something with a private hot tub and Texas stars. We prefer a private cabin type lodge, but if at this point we are not too picky. Anywhere within an hour drive to fredricksburg would be preferred! Thank you!!! Any suggestions?

Yes of course.....most are booked. And we would prefer to have a cabin or villa to ourselves. Just seems that we should have been planning way ahead.

It's a little more than an hour from Fredericksburg, but have you looked for places around Wimberley? Try this site - http://texashillcountryreservations.com/

Spring is a very very busy time in the Hill Country, and as you have found, it's always better to plan way ahead to get the loding you really want. Good luck!
