Night Before Cruise

12 girls meeting in Galveston for a cruise. What would be great places to eat that have a variety of food either with a balcony or in the strand?

I recommend you to try Landry's Seafood House.

It is a little bit pricey but food is good.

Also, you can try the Rain Forest Cafe, both restaurants are next to each other.

Rudy & Paco's is probably the top restaurant in Galveston. Very close to the Strand, and they've got more than just seafood. You can check them out through tripadvisor.com and even make reservations through opentable.com.

Olympia Grill at Pier 21 is nice and has great views of the bay. They have a nice patio to sit and have drinks

We ate at The Fisherman's Wharf last weekend outside and it was wonderful. The Elyssa just came back and Fertitta Tillman's yacht is

docked right there. It's beautiful looking out on the water there! Have fun on your cruise!

I'm with the above two posters - if you want the bay side (Strand), the Olympia Grill or Fisherman's Wharf. Olympia is Greek food, not a huge variety of foods, but very good. Fisherman's Wharf has a better variety and the historic tallship Elissa is moored next to it.

If you want the Gulf side of the island, Jimmy's on the Pier sits over the water, has great food and views.
