Family attraction during the holidays (that won't be too...

Hi everyone - I'm a NYer but meeting my family in my hometown of Houston for the holidays. Looking for suggestions on things that the whole family (there's 13 of us including 5 kids) can do that won't be too nutty or busy! We'll probably be out & about on the 23rd, 24th or 26th. Last year we went to Moody Gardens' Festival of Lights in Galveston and it was perfect. This year, we're not sure. Maybe chilling at the boardwalk in Kemah? Or skating at the Galleria (which would be NUTS but once you weather the wait, it's so fun)? Is there something cool going on in the Museum district? Please feel free to offer suggestions. Thanks very much.

The Downtown Aquarium has Santa's Village, but it may end on the 18th.

Depending on what part of town you live - The waterway at the Woodlands is something new to experience and is family oriented.
