Houston (one night stay)

Will be driving through Houston on a road trip, looking at staying one night on the west side of the city. What areas close to I-10 or Hwy 59 would be the best? Looking for good clean, safe and fairly new hotel, any suggestions. Will be heading toward Corpus Christi the next day.

Thanks

The best bet would be SugarLand - maybe Marriott Town Square (several others too). Something for everyone and also on the morning no traffic to deal with getting out. This is off 59.

I agree. Get thru the city, down to the Sugar Land area on 59South. You will have lots of options down near Williams Trace/Sugar Lakes exit or Highway 6 areas.

Hi Ib,

There's a Drury Suites that gets great TA reviews!

We enjoy Drury Inns when we an find them; they have lots of "extras" that don't cost extra: a night time snack and drink reception, and a good breakfast. The rooms are usually very comfortable, too!

Enjoy your trip!

Stayed at the Drury Inn in the Sugarland area west of Houston, very good area and the hotel was nice, no problems.
