1. Re: Dancing

Sylvia many places have dance floors and iIhave watched many couples hit the floor and others join them. There was a great latin /american band at Bianco in Jl Padma Legian. Plenty of people get up and have a twirl at Legends in Jl Sahadewa Legian and there is a place a bit more up market Rosso Vivo on Jl Pantai Kuta.

You will be able to have a dance in many places

Bahiana (French Salsa bar) on Dhyana Pura/Seminyak suggest going for a wander during the day, they should have a board outside advertising their 'free' learn to Salsa class. There are 12steps so you will have to return a few nights.

The girls/guys at the bar who can Salsa wow!!

JP's Warung also on Dhyana Pura have a band, not sure if they play every night or selected nights

Mannekepis on Jl Raya Seminyak, live Jazz & Blues, every Thur, Frid, Sat.

Havana Club Poppies 1, i heard the band playing as i walked past and they were good.

Hard Rock cafe/Centre stage will advertise out the front and on the large bill board.

Dynasty hotel/Jl Kartika Plaza has music/band at night

Bali Rock (Jl Melasti)Legends,Billy's(Garlic lane) all have music/band

There are clubs/bars on Jl Legian, restaurants with music/singers on the beachfront road Kuta, beach bars north of JL Double Six/Seminyak & music can be found along the beach front path south of Double six.
