Taxi from Malaga - Holiday Polynesia - BABY CAR SEAT?!

Hello,

we are coming into Malaga over easter and we are travelling with a 16 month old.

we were planning on just getting a taxi at the airport to out hotel....

it has just dawned on me about the car seat situation... not hugely keen on travelling down motorways with a baby on my lap in a car, what are the rules in spain?

we require a stage 2 seat so bringing one with us isnt an option... any help gratefully received!!

Thanks

Hi Harmon

When travelling in a taxi the child/children can sit on your lap, or seat belted up.

Why not book a private transfer and ask them to provide a stage 2 seat if possible? You'll then feel more at ease.

The rules in Spain are the same as the UK and the rest of Europe. Taxis are exempt form having to provide child seats.
