There is a whole thread further down the forum with some good ideas, it's called favourite places to eat in Santa Ponsa. Sorry I can't post a link at the moment, the computer I am on won't let me copy and paste!

But there are a lot better places than McDonalds that's for sure!

I love tapas at the salsa bar on the front.

Try Rickies on the quiet side of the beach their meals are enormus & reasonably priced. The beakfasts are fantastic, if you are on the beach there are the supermarkets facing where you can pick your own french stick filling so you can have a picnic on the beach.

To be honest, I don't remember the prices, but it's not expensive. We usually get a good selection, always the sausages, herb potatoes, prawns and a couple of other things between us. I can't remember ever feeling stunned by the bill, so it can't have been too bad!

Mrs Murphy's Kitchen is great especially for breakfast good offers. (Located in the same street as Sean's Place opposite side, abit futher up.)

Jack's next to Burger King is lovely too but expensive, great for dinners.

South Winds is really lovely. Lasagne and steaks are great and reasonable prices too!

Also, beside the Square a restaurant (forget the name) located beside the supermarket just beside Jardin Del Mar is a must for breakfasts. Cheap prices and great value. In that same row there is an Italian restaurant which is also very nice.

Hope this helps.

Go to Rafters ! great portions ribs too die for. The only negative is the can be slow at busy times but worth trying at least once.
