Deya

Just wondering if anyone has booked a room in the Deya before with more than 4 people in the room. Have a room booked for June but their is 5 of us going. 5th person has no accomodatiom. Do you think they would let him in with us if he paid or would they be very strict on this. Surely someone has come across this before?

If its a 4 person room, no chance, overoccupation of rooms is a criminal offence in Spain due to fire regs so the hotel manager could be sent to jail for allowing it.

On the reviews of the hotel it says anything goes and that also says on a few of the reviews that they don't care if theres 1 person or 10 people in a room..

Try just email the hotel though and they might get back to you!

I would hope no one on this forum would recommend anyone break the law or ignore safety regulations. If your friend really wants to stay in the room with you, you need to ask the hotel and not try to just sneak him in. Just imagine if the worst happened and there was a fire, and no one rescued him as they weren't aware he was there.

We have emailed them to enquire about it. We definitely won't be sneaking him in that's for sure.
