Weather mid March?

This may sound a strange question, but can someone who lives in the south of Tenerife please advise me what the weather has been like during mid March over the past few years? We used to visit during January or February, but after a few years of very wet weather (not good when only there for seven days), we gave up on Tenerife. Have not been for three years and really miss the place. We do not expect wall to wall sunshine as we like to get out and about during the day, but like some dry days.

I know nothing can be guaranteed with the weather, but an idea of what we should expect would be much appreciated.

We have been there for the last 5 years from beginning of Jan till the end of March and I think it's all much the same ,you can be lucky or unlucky with the weather. Last year we had no rain at all but we did have a very cold spell around the middle of February and about half the days we were there were quite cloudy.

It is always warmer than the Uk (except this year when we came home to N Ireland at the end of March we had freaky hot weather that was hotter than Tenerife!

It is very unfortunate if you only come for a week and get bad weather but I don't think March is that much different to Jan or Feb.

Hi, Tenerife is often described as the island of eternal spring. The island will be in bloom with all the flowers that you would only see in a hot-house at home. So pack your bikini and shorts. Perhaps a light shawl for the evening.

And don't forget your high factor sun cream, you will burn within 20 minutes without it.
