Question for Port Aransas experts

Any sign of or indication of the Oil spill on the beaches in Port Aransas??

No sign of oil, but the beaches right now look worse than those in the Florida panhandle that have received a little oil. The reason is that the seaweed is terrible!! We are just a few miles down Mustang Island from Port A in an RV resort, and the seaweed is in a strip about 15-20 feet wide, up to a foot deep, as far as you can see in either direction! I have never seen it look so bad! This is probably our last trip here, since one obviously cannot count on anyone from the city or the state to clean this mess up!
