Reasonable room in Port Aransas, any ideas?

I would like to make a trip to Port Aransas this summer with my young adult children. Would like to stay somewhere near the beach, with a pool on a budget. Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated.

Please share a dollar amount per night that you want to spend... we may not all consider the same amount to be "reasonable."

We stay at Casa condos and love it.

They are the closest condos to the beach and they have a wonderful pool. A condo with a full kitchen will help you save money on food since you can prepare breakfast and lunch there and then head into Port A for dinner.

Sandcastle Condominums...best value overall and right on the beach, but they fill up fast, because they are so great!

Beachgate accepts pets, very close to beach. Newer units are very nice, older not so much.
