Is Utah Snowboard friendly?

Our family is planning a ski/snowboard trip to possibly Park City this winter. However we all like to both snowboard and ski.Is their enough terrain for the week at Park City Resort and the Canyons.I read that the Canyons has to many flat areas and is difficult to transverse. We would like to stay together, so Deer Valley would not allow that, since we have a mix of equipment.Thoughts?

If you are staying in Park City.....and plan on skiing/ boarding at PCMR and Canyons.....you will definitely have enough terrain to discover. Depending on your abilities, you will find the terrain that you prefer and traversing won't be an issue.

If you want to venture out for a day trip with your family you can go up to Snowbird (45 minutes) drive or shuttle to Little Cottonwood Canyon.......if your up to it....it will be the terrain your looking for.....I use CanyonHop for day trips....might be a bit expensive for a whole family though.

Your family will love Park City......book it.....and have a great time.

There's more than enough terrain right here between PCMR and Canyons - more acreage in a comparable area than you can find anywhere in America. Both are great mountains to ride. As with any resort, getting to know the mountain helps. Any mountain will have flat traverses in some areas - Canyons doesn't really have more than any other mountain. Both also have great parks.

You'll have a great time.
