3 day visit mid-June

Never been to Park City and wondering what to do. Would like to see tourist and/or non-tourist attractions and also interested in local music. Mid-range budget and 2 middle age travelers. Also would be interested in tour by local guide.

Welcome to the forum. Lots to do. Don't know that there's any reason to have a local guide. For music, Mountain Town Music programs literally hundreds of free concerts with local, regional and national bands at outdoor venues all summer. Checkout www.mountaintownmusic.org. Some key dates are Wednesday evenings at Deer Valley, Thursday at Newpark, and many others. Sunday from 10 am is the weekly Park Silly Sunday Market on lower Main Street with music, food, craft vendors.

The Park City Museum on Main Street will give you a good sense of the community's history. Similarly, the Alf Engen Ski Museum and 2002 Olympic Museum at Utah Olympic Park is a good stop.

There are around 500 miles of trails for biking, hiking, walking. Check it out at mountaintrails.org.

Have fun.

I would take a gondola ride at Canyons for nice mountain views. From there you could ride zip lines, mountain bike, or go hiking.

For thrills check out the alpine slide and coaster at PCMR.

Locals will be walking, jogging or biking the Rail Trail or hundreds of other trails. You could go to a place like White Pine Touring to rent bikes and get some insider info of where to ride. Or just go to Canyons or Deer Valley for a chairlift ride up the mountain.

Main Street has many restaurants, bars, shops and galleries filled with locals and tourists alike.

Not sure if your timeline will work out or not, but the Sundance resort has a concert series called the Bluebird Cafe, where they bring songwriters from Nashville to Sundance for a series of concerts that are great. You'll enjoy PC no matter what you do!
