Week long baseball world series trip

We will be in Park City for approximately 7 days between July 19-26. We are looking for time fillers between games and off days. We have planned on doing some white water rafting and ziplines but would like some options as the best places to do these things, and in addition, what other recreational things do you recommend. There is 6 of us, 2 adults, 16 year old, 2 11 year olds, and an 8 year old.

From a non-adventure side of things, I would like to check out the place where Sundance FF goes down, and from what I recall that is in PC right?

Basically any advice on good places to eat, shop, or visit would be helpful from someone who knows the area(s).

Welcome to the forum. Yes, Park City is the epicenter of the Sundance Film Festival. Not really anything to check out on that other than walking Main Street and imagining stars there in January.

Zip lines at Canyons Resort where you can do some nice cross valley lines high up on the mountain. The Utah Olympic Park has zip lines over the Olympic ski jumps. Park City Mountain Resort is also a great option. PCMR has the best overall combination of zip lines and other activities. Utah Olympic Park also has the Olympic museum.

If you're there on a Sunday, check out Park Silly Sunday Market on lower Main Street.

You'll find plenty to do.

Have fun.

There is tons of mountain biking in the area. If you want lift rides to the top, you can go to Canyons or Deer Valley.

PCMR has the alpine slide and coaster as well as zip lines. Canyons and Utah Olympic Park also have zip lines. Try the bobsled ride at Utah Olympic Park too.

You could look into jet ski, speed boat, or SUP rentals at Jordanelle or Deer Creek.

Take a drive over Guardsman Pass into Big Cottonwood Canyon for a nice half day hike to Lake Blanche or just walk around the boardwalk at Silver Lake. Continue to Twin Lakes if wanted.

The 24th of July is a state holiday and has the largest parade in Salt Lake City. Great fireworks at night. But be prepared for crowds.

For places to eat try High West distillery and J&G Grill. For cheaper eats try The Boneyard or No Name Saloon, or Squatters. Great local beer at Wasatch Brewery. Shopping at the outlet stores or Main Street.

Yeah Sundance is in January. The Egyptian Theater is on Main. Another nice drive would be to go to Sundance Resort on the backside of MT. Timpanogos to check out the Owl Bar or a restaurant.
