Mountain Bike Lodging

We're coming up yo Killington, for the first time, to catch the last weekend of downhill mountain biking.

We've been looking at condo rentals and hoping to be able to ride our bikes back at night instead of returning them every day to the rental store.

It seems like Trail Creek is the closest condo to the Gondola lift and it's advertised as being within "walking distance of the lifts".

Could someone please tell me about how far it is and is it all uphill?

Um, yes, you're at the bottom of the hill, so you have to go back up it. :-)

To bike from Trail Creek to the Gondola shouldn't be toooooo horrible. There is a flat part, and maybe even a slight downhill section. But then there will be quite a tiresome uphill stretch. But do-able, I think.

Trail Creek is nice. It is walking distance to the Snowshed lift, but a bit of a hike to the gondola. You should download a trail map to see what this means.

At any rate, if you're looking at condos, Trail Creek is pretty much one of the top 3 at Killington, so just stick with them.
