Killington in March

We have decided to go t oKillimngton the first week of March and we were just wondering what it is typically like there then. How is the snow? What are the typical conditions like? Things like that. I know that they can change in a minute b/c of Mother Nature, but we were just wondering on average what is like there then

First week of March is still prime skiing season, especially for the big mountains up north, and especially for Killington, which is amongst the leaders in snowmaking and grooming, which is why they are annually the first to open and last to close. If it's a typical winter, then the conditions and the amount of open terrain should be excellent.

March skiing is the best! Days are longer, and temps are a little higher. There's plenty of snow cover and conditions are usually very good. Plus, you may find it less crowded.
