Zip line companies in Nica

We're planning a trip for this december and were looking at ziplining. The place at the mambacho volcano (Cutirre Canopy tour) comes up but the info link is broken. Has anyone been there recently? Is it still open? Any other places in the area? I've found Da Flying Frog near SJDS, but looking for any other options.

Thaks for any info.

Jason

Hola.

The cutirre canopy tour is not running anymore at that location, they moved to the road goin up (brick road) to the natural reserve at mombacho volcano. (www.cafelasflores.com/index.php…)

there is another canopy tour (miravalle canopy tour) going on the same road to the reserve but this one is before you arrived at the entrance of the park.

There is another one but is in Managua is located next to the hospital militar behind Crown Plaza hotel on Tiscapa view point.

And well the falying from that u know already.

I recommend, the Mirevalle Canopy Tour. ( July2011) It was really fun, the canopy guides were exceptional, and the setting was great. It is situated over a working coffee plantation. Make sure to buy some coffee it is superb. The Mirevalle Canopy tour is FUN, you wil not see your life flash before your eyes like some tours in CR. Get in touch with Rodolfo Ortega to set up a day tour which could include this actvity. He is the best guide!! Ask him to take you to Villas Mombacho for lunch. rodolfo.nicaragua@hotmail.com

Get in touch with the owner of miravalle canopy tour (Mauricio) and ask for his email 0050588722555 0050584715516, one of the best activities in town.

Enjoy Nicaragua.

As Byronortega said:

I wouldn't recommend that one. The Loma de Tiscapa is contaminated with raw sewage that is continuously fed into it from a discharge pipe at one end of the Loma (yes, you can actually see it pouring in!). Plus, that zip line isn't very long, only about a kilometer or so from what Lonely Planet says.
