Año Nuevo Chino is unexciting, but reasonable Chinese food. Cheap. They also deliver.

Haven't tried Nica Buffet but have had it recommended to me. "Cheap breakfast" was the word.

Cafe Latino is a chain and is standard, if unwonderful coffee. The interior courtyard is a nice place to sit. Haven't tried their food at all (pre-wrapped sandwiches in the cooler). I'd go to the Euro Cafe long before Cafe Latino for food or coffee.

I can't comment on the others.

Glad to know Ano Nuevo Chino delivers. We had Telepizza deliver last visit but since we speak no spanish we had to visit earlier in the day, Worked fine.

This time we are at Xalteva Condo where the staff can help us

“Great, but gone.”

Great sports bar, but alas, the owner and creator (of seven years) has had to close.

Both Centralito and Casa Blanca are on Calzada near the corner of Calle Martirio. Casa Blanca does typical Nica dishes at bargain prices. A good choice for those on a budget. Centralito is a great spot to enjoy some ice cold toñias with friends. Order food at your own risk. There are much better options for food all up and down Calzada.

Oh --isn't there a cafe Melba on Martirio? What is it like? Who serves "upscale" Nica food? Chicken dishes?

We have eaten most of the obvious including Sopa Mondongo. I don;t think we have had quesillo. I was told it was best at a place near la Merced but i can't remember where

The quesillo at the ballpark is the best!

I hear from Rodolfo that there is something new where Zoom was but have not tried it yet.
