february floods

Having booked up for this month, have only just heard about the flooding in February.

Has everything returned to normal?

Unless you are a householder or salt worker who is still fighting the government for compensation then the answer is yes , its about back to normal. Any destroyed holiday parks/ camping sites are closed, and generally you wont see much evidence of damage as it was cleared up very quickly, most of the devastation was in the area around Loix, but the town itself is fine, we went there in march, and it seemed normally busy. St Martin again busy even in spring, and all shops etc open for business. All the beaches like Bois Plage, Sablenceaux etc are good to go and the queue on the bridge is as big as I've seen it in previous years , so I guess business as usual!

Was there a couple of weeks ago and it is not noticible that anything happened.

Yes the q for the bridge was massive even at that time of the year.
