Princess of Naxos

Has this hotel been renovated lately?

The pictures on hotels.com and the travel photos here at TA does not look the same at all..

Is it a good choice for a hotel in Naxos near town?

We're looking for a hotel with good standard and facilities in a walking distance from town.

The hotel was renovated a couple of years ago, and they also added a pool to the hotel:

For walking to town you will have to cross the main road out of town and walk along the St. George beach:

In my opinion there are better options in the St. George area, and you will be within 10-15 mins walk from "everywhere" in town.

Look up options here:

Thank you,

Any particular suggestions to hotels?

They all looked similar, except from Nissaki Beach Hotel which looked really nice but does not come up as an available option at our particular dates.

Hopefully this is also useful information for other travellers.

There are many options. What are your preferences for facilities and location regarding a hotel ?

Yes it's funny and odd - but I agree with greek traveller - the information may be useful to others as well :)

It's kind of our honeymoon, but not our proper honeymoon.. just our first holiday after the wedding so I'm not on a tight budget, but I do not necessarily need a honeymoon suit. I was thinking of a four-star hotel with a nice pool, clean and comfy rooms close to town (walking distance)

I stayed there for Easter in 2010. Excellent facilities, beach at the front, short walk to the square and the city. Here is to give you some idea:
