2 adults and 3 active daughters ages 16, 11, and 10 are planning to visit Naxos for a week in June. This is our first time going to Greece and after researching several islands such as Corfu, Crete, and others, we have decided on the Cycladic islands and stay on Naxos. We want to stay at a place that is directly on the beach and has a pool.We will need to get two rooms or apartment type accomodation, which is fine. We definitely want at least 2 bedrooms. I've read many reviews online and looked at various property websites. I want to stay at a very nice place. My husband thinks we should stay close to the town (so St George Beach) so that we can walk to the restaurants. It looks like Stelida might have a nicer beach but I don't want to be isolated if that is what Stelida is like. We don't mind renting a car but prefer to be where the most activity is. We stayed at a place in Australia and had to walk to the beach everyday. It wasn't that far, but based on that experience, we really prefer a place that is right on the beach. Does any one have an opinion on which of these properties and locations is best for our needs?
Nissaki Beach - on the beach but beach is narrow.Based on reviews, you can just walk a little ways to a wider beach.
Boutique Hotel Glaro - looks lovely but think it might already be sold out.
Then further away from town but looks lovely:
Can anyone help us choose? or if you must, throw in another suggestion! Thank you!
