Seems the additional high-season services, and summer offers, are starting to roll out now....
Those heading from Rome to any of the above between 18 June and 12 September may be interested in knowing that Alilauro are again running their "Intermodal" service.
It's a daily bus (*) that leaves from near Termini (Via Solferino, 28) at 09:00, and takes you directly to the Molo Beverello in Naples by about 11:45, to connect with the next hydrofoil to one of those places.
Depends on the comparison you pick but - with the Rome/Naples Eurostar costing €44 - prices seem quite good: at the weekends, when it's slightly dearer, they charge.... Rome/Sorrento €42, Rome to Ischia or Capri €48 etc.
In the other direction, the bus leaves Beverello at 17:30 - to get to Rome at about 20:10.
Buying a return ticket will save several Euro, so at €86 between Mondays and Fridays the trip to Ischia or Capri and back costs less than the Eurostar journey alone (and, of course, there's no railway station, Alibus, taxis or Naples traffic jams involved!).
At present there's only an Italian version of the details, even on the English pages.....

PS: (*) - the bus is equipped with "every comfort" as they coyly put it here!
PPS - no animals allowed!
