Jesolo beach closure

Just received information that Jesolo beach will be closed after 14th Sept...what does this mean...can we not go on the beach and does this effect any other services such as shops and travel to Venice? thanks for any answers

It will probably mean that the beach service such as the umbrealls, deckchairs etc will not be running along with the lifeguards but often if the weather is nice some do stay open and youcan rent them ad hoc. If not and its hot you can use the beach etc no problem at all. It is likely that the bars will be open as well along the beach too.

The buses mught start running a more reduced timetable but I thought that was more towards the end of Sept to be honest. vaporetti again will be running fine.

The shops might start reducingnhours but agian I thought that was more towards the end of the month. It all depends on the volume of tourists.

Hi Rosa

We are booked to arrive 21/9 for a week, does that mean that a lot of places will be closed?

Sounds like reduced hours on certain things Tillygirl. We are arriving the 20th so I am hoping to pick lots more info before the day.

It all depends on the volume of tourism , if there are people things will stay open, yes it will be quieter for sure but if the companies are selling holidays things must still be running.....
