Yes, yes, & yes. Firstly there are plenty of bars, we enjoyed Trotters right opposite the beach plus there are dozens of others, some cater for the Brits and some for the Germans etc. The Ca'n Picafort beach looked good but we went to the Son Baloo beach, its a 10 to 15min walk but worth it. If you do go here try the German hotdog stall, they sell the biggest hotdogs at a good price. Lastly the restaurants are as plentiful as the bars, we loved the Tappas and would recommend the restaurant to the right of the marina, I think it was Casa Don, the Tappas was well worth the money. All in all a small to medium sized town with plenty to offer and enjoy.

Agree 100% with Baloo! We love the place. Lots of restaurants, few bars and a couple of discos. Place has a nice feel about it, more a small town than a seaside resort.

Casa Don is indeed a great tapas place right next to the marina and the Son Baulo beach is better than Ca'n Picafort beach. A lot of the bars and restaurants are along the front and there is sometimes entertainment in one or two of the bars.

We are back there next Monday for 10 days to see our daughter who works in Ca'n Picafort.

Handy for visits to Alcudia, Puerta Pollensa and Cap Formentor with some stunning scenery

We go to Can Picafort every year. There are quiet areas and there are lively areas (never seen any lager louts).

Just wander the promenade (which is pedestrianised) theres lots to see and do.

Can Picafort towards the Son Baulo end is the quietest where there are still a few bars and Tappas bars etc.

Just got back Wednesday. Another great time! The tapas restaurant next to the marina is Don Denis and across the road is Mariscos where I had a great paella (freshly made).

As for bars, we spent time in Birdies and the Red Lion as my daughter knows the owners. Didn't go to Charlies disco this time but have fond memories of it from last year.

There are a number of resturants along the marina, most of the menus are in German but they all do good food. Oasis and Miami are good and the Oasis often have one of the many great tribute bands playing.

We know the Jacksons, the Temptations, Earth Wind & Fire and Kool & The Gang through my daughter and they are really very good. There's also a Rod Stewart, Robbie Williams, Lionel Richie, Abba and Spice Girls tributes.

Can't speak highly enough of Ca'n Picafort, nice resort with a nice feel about it. Hope you have a great time there

Buena viaje!

Came back from Ca'n Picafort at the end of August, had a great time with the grandchildren. beaches are lovely. lots of restaurants but a Word of warning about paying by Debit/credit cards for meals, beware of restaurants that dont give receipts or say your pin hasnt been accepted(when in fact it has)and then you pay cash, try to get money back when back home and your then told you have no claim as you havent got the receipt, this happened to us at Don Denis. How many other people has this happened too?? 90euros now out of pocket.

We just returned from a great holiday. We stayed in C'an Picafort for 7 days and enjoyed our stay very much. The restaurants at the beach area are indeed very nice but the greatest of all and the only one that I/we would recommend warmly is "Oasis" - great live acts, great entertainment, moderate prices and an absolutely great service team - we enjoyed visits during the day (to escape the very hot time/sun during midday hours) as well as during the night.

Another one was worth a visit - it's also situated at the beach pedestrian zone and strawberries were given to people passing by - food was very good and the atmosphere (fully outdoor with great sea-view) - anyhow the service was disappointing especially as elderly people next to us were insulted when complaining about their meat - the way they were treated shocked us and we decided not to go there again, although we personally were treated in a "normal" manner - if you go there than better enjoy sea-food - this is a thing we can recommend ;) better avoid meat and do not complain or you're asked to leave the restaurant :(

Better you go to Oasis directly ;) Food, beer, cocktails - best shows and a perfect service ;)

Besides restaurants, there are also several nice bars and some discos (but we did not visit any disco).

For us it was a perfect stay and we discovered a lot of great placed with a motorbike that we rented there (Cap Formentor, Sa Calobra, Pollenca,...) -> very nice place with good entertainment, nice beach and also good for discovering the isle.
