Mid October visit.

Looking forward to our first visit to Calas De Majorca on Sunday however appreciate it will be almost the end of the season.

Will the few local shops, bars, restaurants etc still be open? Also are we likely to see any pedaloes or similar on the local beaches. Looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday but still like to have an evening stroll and a little drink.

Any info will be great.

1. Re: Mid October visit.

I had a drive out to CDM this time last year. There was enough going on in the resort to make it interesting.Didn't see any pedaloes though on the beach under Hotel America.

What I did notice was signs outside some of the restos/bars along the lines of "We are not part of your All Inclusive deal".Presumably some people in the past have thought the whole resort was like Sandals-All Inclusive everywhere.
