sol tordos t.v

Hi, was just wondering if anyone has ever took their own dvd player to use in the rooms in the sol tordos? I was thinking about take one but wasny sure if it would work?

Last year we got a bad signal on all the chanels, and the only thing we could watch was bbc news.

Its not tht we watch a lot of tv on holiday, but it would be good to occupy my son while we are getting ready for dinner, or for at night before we go to sleep.

Thanks for you help.

There is no reason why your machine wouldn't work here. You would of course need a plug adapter and bring your scart lead.

Think the signal problem is common its been like that for quite some time, every time we go it gets worse, the signal & loss of channels much later in the evening usually after we have returned from the evenings entertainment

its not as bad though during late afternoon/early evening, we used to often catch up on the soaps on ITV2 before going down for our evening meal etc

we where still able to watch most of the English channels until very late in the evening

how old is your son ???

most young boys (and girls) take games consoles eg. Nintendo DS, these usually keep them occupied, rather having to lug a DVD player and films etc

although you can get a portable DVD player

if the TV problem is really bad have a word with reception

Although the DVD player would work, with the right leads etc, it's also problamatic from a power supply POV, as their aren't many spare points, and the TV has a euro plug on the end of the lead, so if you unplug that and use a UK 4 gang trailing socket you then can't plug the TV in.

Portable DVD player as per Big Scouse's suggestion is the way to go.
