Safari Park - Sa Coma - La Reserva water park, any good?

Hi

I'm due to go to Safari Park soon and wanted to know if anyone has experienced the water park, La Reserva?

They were just building it last year.

How does it work with all-inclusive packages?

Thanks

SM

hi we go to safari park twice a year and love it, we went in la reserva aug last year just as it opened, and it was very good, if you are all inclusive you pay 6 euros each, if you are not its about 20 euros so keeps certain people out.

The food was great including bbq steaks etc and of course drinks and ice creams included as it would be in the hotel, nice swim up bar and good slides all in safe environment and the pools are not to deep. With a life guard

have a nice time.

Does the 20 euros only apply to hotel residents who are not all-inclusive, or can anyone go? (We will be staying at the Coma Gran). Thanks.

Hi Michael900

Have just come back from Safari Park. What a great time we had! The prices for La Reserva have gone up since last year. You buy your tickets at a place called the Club House (outside of Safari Park Hotel). If you are all-inclusive staying at any of the Protur Group Hotels, it is 10 Euros for adults and 5 E for kids. If you are staying with the Protur Group, but not all inclusive, its about 21 E for adults (can't remember the price for kids). If you are a complete 'outsider' it is (I think) 33 E. For that you have admittance to the water park and all food and drink (plus icecreams). There are two main water flumes (and they will let kids down if they are wearing waterfloats - but no riding on the parents lap). There is also a separate shallow area for the kids with two little water slides. There is also a large jacuzzi about 10 foot square, within the free form swimming pool. There are plenty of sun beads and shade - it was always pretty empty when we were there. The bar will serve you 'on land' or you can swim up to it. All drinks are free (beer, wine, sangria etc)as well as soft drinks.) The buffet food is wonderful. Great selection of salads, prawns etc or big chunks of steak, chicken legs, burgers, chips, pasta, pizza. Go up as many times as you like - when its open at lunch time. Plenty of fresh fruit or icecreams or desserts. Well worth the money. Beats having to hire a car to go to other water parks, but may be not too exciting for older teenagers.
