hi can any one tell me where we get a ferry from to Lanzarote please and how much is it approx. Also how much is it and is it worth while? thanks
there is 2 ships that go from corrlejo harbour to lanzarote, try looking on the fred olsen website,
if your going on a package holiday your tour rep should be able to organise a day trip to lanza,
we done a day trip last year through our rep
Hi there, please see this page www.leisurezone.es/ferry-timetables.html which gives you the times for both the Fred Olsen (fast catamaran) and Naviera Armas (normal car ferry).
The table I have created will link to both websites for bookings, prices etc
Playa Blanca in Lanzarote is certainly worth a day trip, it is very cosmopolitan with lots of cafes and bars and some designer shops particularly at Marina Rubicon which is a purpose-built marina which also hosts the market on a Saturday.
I would advise taking the first ferry in the morning and the last at night to allow yourselves plenty of time. PLEASE NOTE the last ferry back is not as late as you would expect, so please check the times with the ferry company you choose!
thank you for your help, i shall definitely go on a trip there it sounds great. thanks again for the info. very helpful ;-)
There is also the Princess Ico ferry to PDC however this does take longer and your stay will be shorter in PDC, €25 return in March,
Hi there, be careful if you are thinking of taking the Princesa Ico.
It is a small catamaran which covers a longer journey at a slower pace - all that coupled with the choppiness of the seas at times, does cause people to feel/be sea-sick.
There are threads about this on the forum, just keep it in mind when deciding which route to take .... enjoy!
