Seven Pints has draught Stronbow, 3.50 euros a pint as well as a great variety of other draught drinks, Peroni, John Smiths, Guinness, Carlsberg and Tropical which is the local beer.

Would 3.50 be the standard cost of a pint in Corralejo?

Strongbow is standard really at 3.50, or very close to depending which bar you visit, a pint but if its lager that your after that can be as cheap as 1.50 a pint depending on where you visit. So although its dearer for cider Corralejo is certainly cheaper for other draught beers.

Hi,

As it happens I really only drink cider (or wine at a push) so can answer this with first hand knowledge.

The Corner House sports bar (off the main drag) has draught Strongbow for 3 euro and serve it in a glass straight out of the freezer - magic after a day in the sun!!!. There are only a handful of places that sell it on draught including '7 Pints bar', the three British bars together just off the 'clock' roundabout (Talk of the Town etc) all at 3.50 euro. The other ciders I have been able to locate are Magners, which is mainly bottled at 5 euro, (although Finnegans and McCarthy's have it on draught) and a Spanish cider in Weirdo's bar near the music square. This is drinkable and cheap too at, I think, 2 euro a pint. Otherwise you can get Strongbow and Magners in the Hyperdino supermarkets which is great when you are self catering as you can take it to the beach in your cool bag for that lunchtime treat!!

Most of the Hyperdino' s also sell that Swedish Kopparberg cider but personally I'm not keen on it. Enjoy!!!

You get a great pint of ice cold Strongbow at the Corintia bar at Gallera Beach, they usually have a bogof in the late afternoon. We always make there for a refreshing pint, plus you're right on the beach.

There has been a lot of debate recently in town as to the prices of pints (whatever they may be). 7Pints prices went down due to the fact they had competition from a bar opposite in the Plaza. However, 7Pints is the only bar in the Plaza now and have returned to their original price. 3 euros for a pint of Tropical (local beer) and 3.50 for the likes of Strongbow.

There are places in town where you can get cheaper beer. However, you do get what you pay for and whilst 7Pints is 3 euros, this is because of its surroundings, entertainment and service. The bar is (I'm sorry if this upsets anyone), far nicer than some of the bars that are offering 2 euros or even 1.50. If you are happy in a less than well established, non entertainment bar then you will be satisfied with other than 7Pints. There are some beautiful bars around town that offer traditional surroundings and minimal extras but that doesn't mean that these bars are less appealing than 7Pints. It's all about what your personal taste is. 7Pints has been criticised recently for its 'move' across the Plaza, to its original location. However, the reason for this is because, across the road is a larger premise. It is also making way for new businesses and new jobs (something this island and its inhabitants should never complain about).

Yes, there are cheaper beers. Yes, there are places more to 'your' taste but 7Pints remains one of the most popular bars on the island and nothing has changed apart from its address. Anyone who lives here knows that despite its upgrade, no-one is paying for the refurbishment. The success of its recent 2 years business (in the old locale) has been enough to cover that. From the moment it opens at 5.30pm until 1am (sometimes later) everyone who walks through the door is happy and returns night after night.

The supermarkets know their clientale ie lots of British tourists and the cheapest seems to be hiper Dino and they are all over the resort. Open pretty much all day and definitely sell some ciders. Can't remember if I bought magners or bulmers but this was only a month ago. Cheers! Also the lagers are ridiculously cheap with no tax. The local is Tropical which is good. Also honey rum is a local drink and highly delicious especially after a big meal.
