Suite hotel Atlantis yes or no?

Hi, we are thinking of booking this place but there is a mixed bag of reviews on it, some give it 5 out of 5 and some advise to stay away!

We need the 2 bedroom suite that is why we are looking at this place and also we need entertainment for our young kids.

Can anybody who has stayed here let me know what it is actually like.

Also, the walk to the town centre apparently is 15 minutes is this along main roads or is there a promenade? We will be pushing a buggy so if it is along the beach then that is no good.

Also, is it worthwhile staying all inclusive - ie is it expensive buying drinks etc if not AI?

comments appreciated.

In my opinion a bit far out. For kids entertainment would try one of the Oasis Resorts. Papagayo does AI and 2 bedrooms. Dunas does HB and 2 bedrooms.

Been 3 times inlast 18 months and always gone SC as it is not that expensive. Some good family bars and eateries.

Allanannie, we've stayed at the Atlantis Suites, although it was 2 years ago.

We had a 2 bedroom suite next to the kiddies playground and pool and it was ideal as we had 2 kids, 18 months and 4 years with us. We were AI and the food was also very good then. There was also entertainment on at night in the square outside one of the restuarants, fire eaters etc.

It is about a 15 min walk to the main strip along a quiet road, easier for a pushchair. The beach path can be quite rough going.

The only thing that put us of going back the next year again was the price

increase.
