Roadworks?

Have heard about some roadworks in the area of Corralejo. Possibly near the Gran Hotel Natura. As we are due to visit in 4 weeks time, can someone please put my mind at rest?

Cheers.

1. Re: Roadworks?

Hi Ron,

I probably answered this elsewhere yesterday? ;). Anyway, they seem to be over bar resurfacing and there shouldn't be any problem at all. Just pull over into the unsurfaced car-park or one of the roadside parking bays you come to when you see the first building of Corralejo. That'll be your hotel. And very nice it is, too!

You can get a street plan at reception so you can drive into town if you like. Note that many of the roads are one-way - look for the arrows on the road at junctions to see where you can go. It can be confusing at first but there's always a block to go round and it's actually not a very big place so you soon get the hang of it. However, we find that walking in, via the coastal path/beaches, is the best way to go, then a taxi back home for 3-4€ (depending on time of day).

Thanks Sheila, for both replies.

We arrive on 10th September. Might catch up with you in Flintstones one night.

Cheers.

Yes, maybe - that would be good. We're taking a summer break at the mo as the bar is full of kids who want something different, but hopefully will be back there next month.

Enjoy!
